Our Mission
We are dedicated to breeding
and raising top quality alpacas. Our breeding program emphasizes fine
consistent fiber and good conformation. We look for animals with
presence and gentle dispositions. We specialize in colored Huacaya
alpacas ranging from true black to fawn and including both rose
gray and silver gray.
Services
We offer Huacaya alpaca
breeding stock, stud services and prize-winning fiber. We provide full
post sales support and advice, especially to new alpaca owners and small
farms. We will board your animals up to one year after purchase at no
charge. In addition, we provide boarding services, at long-term and
short-term rates as well as halter training.

Yarns and Gifts
Here at Sylvan Skies we carry a
wide range of alpaca products for you to purchase in our Farm Store. We
stock a complete line of America's Alpaca socks and products as well as
hand made alpaca items, yarn and knitting supplies and several designer
clothing lines. Please make sure to stop in our shop and try on an
alpaca sweater to see what the feel of affordable luxury is all
about!
The Ranch
Sylvan Skies is nestled in the
Cascade foothills about 25 miles east of Salem, Oregon. We operate
our farm based on principles of sustainable agriculture, which makes
alpacas the perfect fit for our earth-friendly lifestyle. These
beautiful animals are a delight to watch and a pleasure to work with.
